It arrives as a single piece, requiring professional assistance or equipment (e.g., a hand truck) for placement due to its weight. No assembly is needed, but an optional St. Louis Pedestal can be used for elevation (sold separately). The package includes installation instructions and a care guide, detailing placement and maintenance, including winterization to protect against freezing. In cold climates, raise the planter off the ground using shims or risers to ensure drainage, and if unplanted, turn it upside down and cover with burlap or an absorbent material (e.g., an old towel) wrapped with dark plastic to prevent water accumulation and cracking.
